Double-locking mechanism for the highest requirements in secure areas

Ecos secure key control systems comply with all the highest requirements in the security sector. The intelligent key control system makes it possible for defined personnel to have selected exclusive keys for themselves. Due to locks on the door and the key, all keys are doubly secured. The keys are attached to intelligent plugs using safety locks or seals. These plugs are coded via an integrated chip. As a result of this, the intelligent plug, which is attached to the key, is always uniquely identifiable.

Securing the cabinet door

The cabinet door is opened only by using the access authorisation of the relevant user. These rights can be granted in the form of a secret code, magnetic card, chip card or a transponder and even using biometric identification. Using the combination with an additional PIN number, an unauthorised person will be denied access in the event of loss of the access card. As a result, it can also be ensured that certain keys only allow an object to be removed in presence of a second person: the "four eyes" principle.

Key Security

Each user can be given individual access rights for each individual key as a result of the coding in the intelligent plug and the stand alone lock. Time-dependent releases for the key can be programmed individually and for groups for different users.

Permanent monitoring and remote release

Using the most modern communication technology it is possible to connect the system directly to your Intranet. This ensures a permanent, decentralised monitoring of the key movements by those responsible even from great distances. In emergencies the necessary keys can be released without any time delay using the remote controlled stand alone release.

System cabinet with integrated system circuit board (processor), key pad, LCD display, loud speaker and personal identification methods e.g. magnetic, chip and proximity card reader or also biometric method (fingerprint, hand surface recognition). Administration programme based on Microsoft .net development environment and a Microsoft SQL-data base.
