Ecos Depot
ecos depot: Safety deposit units for the secure storage of objects
ecos depot safety deposit units have been developed for the safe storage of items. They electronically register and record the removal and return of documents, data carriers and small items such as keys, mobile phones or tools.
ecos depot secures your objects from unauthorised use, permanently and without any interruptions.
System Components
  • Control unit with integrated system circuit board (processor), key pad, LCD display and personal identification methods e.g. magnetic, chip and proximity card reader or also biometric method (fingerprint, hand scan).
  • Safety deposit units with 3mm thick, deep framed steel doors and internal plug contact for electronic monitoring of the level of occupancy.
  • Administration programme based on Microsoft .net development environment and a Microsoft SQL data base.
Easy user management through the integrated Touch-Screen display allows for a fast initial operation also by untrained personnel.

User access is realized - easy and fast - through identifi cation using non-contacting card or key holder (Proximity Tag). The door opens automatically after successful verification. The key at the center of authorization will now be unlocked and marked with a blue LED illumination for a better overview.
Mode of Operation
  • The contents (e.g. documents, mobile phones, CDs or even laptops and small items) are locked in behind a solid steel door and are therefore protected from unauthorised access.
  • Removal or return of the deposited items is electronically monitored once the compartment is opened. In this way the level of occupancy of all compartments is documented at all times.
  • A personalised access authorisation allows the relevant compartment to be opened. This is achieved either via the integrated key pad, using a secret code and/or an ID card or biometric distinguishing characteristics.
  • This ensures that only identified and authorised people open the compartments. All activity is permanently registered and recorded in the data base.
  • Each time the compartment is opened or closed, this action is clearly assigned to a user.
